Attorney Kathleen Kienitz

Kathleen E. Kienitz, Esq., CELA, has practiced elder law and estate planning in Lewiston since 1991. Her firm, Elder Law Offices of Kathleen Kienitz, PA, concentrates in elder law and disability planning, estate planning and probate. She has been the past chairperson of the Elder Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association. She is a certified elder law attorney through the National Elder Law Foundation. She is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and a frequent planning committee and faculty member of the New England Regional Elder Law Symposia. She is a board member of Legal Services for the Elderly.  She also writes and speaks extensively on the topics of elder law and estate planning. Her article, Pooled Disability Trusts, a History and Survey of their Use in the United States recently appeared in the January 2006 edition of the NAELA News, published by National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Ms. Kienitz graduated from Michigan State University summa cum laude with a B. Mus., and from Northeastern University School of Law.
